A feature I like about Lemmy is that the mod-log is public and that you can go from comments in the mod-log directly to the related discussions.

People should really check out OP’s mod-log and make up their own minds.
Especially about the things he wrote about in his “Lowlights” section.

If you close the lid on a MacBook, it ignores caffeinate and goes to sleep anyway. The only cases in which it doesn’t go to sleep with a closed lid are when you connect an external display or disable sleep entirely:

sudo pmset disablesleep 1

No need to install a separate app:

sudo pmset disablesleep 1

There is a sci-fi Tom Scott Video with more or less that premise.

You can just fork it and replace the image.
