Maybe you should look at who has been expanding the surveillance state for the past 25 years, because it’s essentially a bipartisan issue in Congress and all administration. Edit to expand on my point, but the Democrats continued sycophancy to giant corporations and refusal to enact policies to benefit actual people is why America has accelerated towards fascism for the past 30 years.

Yeah I doubt the Kurds are interested in fighting wars the US anymore since they have been burned every time. I believe that Kurdish armament this month is purely defensive since they have no idea how this is all gonna play out.

I think the current understanding is that Iran is leading with all their cheap missiles since American and Israeli defenses will only last a few weeks of sustained attacks. The calculus works out in Iran’s favor to slowly introduce their more sophisticated arms as US/Israeli defenses slowly get overwhelmed.
