  • You should be fine. It’s a card game first and foremost, so no enemies sneaking up on you per se. There are some creepy things happening and, without going too much into detail, a lot of fourth-wall breaks - you’ll know when you see. That can take you by surprise a little, but if you’re fine dealing with that, you should be ok.

There can be some minor body horror involved that can be a little gross. There is one action you need to take to progress the game eventually.

Overall, it’s not full of jumpscares - it’s just scary atmosphere and creepy vibes. I myself am usually rather easily scared by video games, but I’ve been fine throughout. Give the first hour or so a try to get a good feel for it. The rest of the creepiness will unfold itself later on

I can second this. I’ve got a Surface Go 2 that I’ve been using for a couple of years now and have fully transitioned to Kubuntu a year and a half ago or so. Been working pretty much flawlessly. My cameras don’t work, but I don’t need them regardless, the pen and the keyboard cover work out of the box, so does the touchscreen. You might want to make a few changes here and there to adjust for missing functions, but it’s been a pretty good experience so far. The Surface’s battery also lasts a lot longer and the Surface itself doesn’t get too warm anymore either, compared to Windows 11

A standard pack of Dragonshield sleeves usually runs you around 10€/pack at retail regardless of what kind of sleeves they are. Some colours are more expensive, art sleeves are also more expensive usually. Matte clear sleeves, depending on where you buy them, either go for the 5-6€/pack you paid online or they’re at around 10€/pack at retail or local game stores/trading card shops. So you paid a good price for yours. And considering that you’re buying quality sleeves that are very durable and will likely last you quite a while, that’s a good deal.

Basic boardgame sleeves are usually cheaper but they’re also heaps cheaper in terms of quality, don’t shuffle well, are very flimsy and break easily. If you don’t mind that, you could have also gone for those. Not a huge recommendation on my part and since you’re already decked out too, probably not needed at this point.

Overall, it’s not cheap as an absolute number, but it’s comparatively cheap for what you’re getting and how much you could have been spending for them.

Check out Arcane Tinmen’s sleeves. They also produce Dragonshield sleeves for standard size playing cards and card games, think Flesh and Blood and Magic the Gathering, but they also have an assortment of sizes for boardgames and non-standard size card games that would likely run you cheaper than Dragonshield… Afaik, they’re from the Netherlands, can’t comment on where the sleeves are produced, though, possibly China too.

Another option would be Katana sleeves by Ultimate Guard. They’re a little cheaper than Dragonshield, have nice quality and shuffle feel (from what I’ve heard), and Ultimate Guard is from Germany. Again, can’t comment on where they are produced, but I imagine most sleeves are probably made in China.

  • For entire OSTs: any of the FromSoft soulslikes, Lies of P, Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction, any Monster Hunter game really (especially the ones in Pokke village, so Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite/Portable 2nd G), Hollow Knight, currently enjoying Ridge Racer’s (PSP) soundtrack for working out, Deltarune and Undertale, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and Bboy the Game for some perfect-vibe licensed music…

Disco Elysium’s is my current favourite OST, but the game itself might also just be current favourite game.

As for individual tracks, I like the Spanish guitar portion of “The Drive/First Contact” off the RE4 soundtrack. Back when I started out with breaking (“breakdance”), think 2008/9ish, we had a remix of that specific part of the song that would play often - I’ve got very fond memories of that. The song itself, its remixes and the remake versions actually are some of my favourite running music for the gym.

Here’s the remix in question if anyone’s interested: https://youtu.be/SMWV-3pbcLE

As for one favourite individual song from each of the aforementioned OSTs:

    • Hunter’s Dream (Bloodborne)
    • Shadow Flower (Lies of P)
    • Rogue (Diablo 2) + Lord of Destruction intro
    • Pokke Village theme (MH Freedom 2/Unite/Generations (Ultimate)) and Mizutsune theme (first fought in Generations)
    • Mantis Lords (Hollow Knight)
    • Rotterdam Nation - Remix (Ridge Racer)
    • Ruins (Undertale) and My Castle Town (Deltarune)
    • I’m a Swing It by House of Pain or Ace of Spades by Motörhead (THPS3)
    • Don’t Sweat the Technique by Rakim or Apache by Incredible Bongo Band (Bboy the Game)

This was lots of fun to think about. I hope anyone reading can find something of value here. :)
