I’m sure that after a couple of times they will set a reminder or something, and then everything will go smoothly.

Why would it?

Pretty sure the one and only guy on dev team will forget to update stuff for Linux Proton, just like it happened with Apex Legends. I’m sure that after a couple of times they will set a reminder or something, and then everything will go smoothly.
