Half life (and it’s astonishingly good remake, Black Mesa) still hold up all these years later, as does Half life 2, it’s expansions, and it’s VR title, which falls between HL1 and 2.
Half life Alyx is the best VR game I have ever played, and it might be one of the best games I have played due to the VR element and carefully crafted experience.
How does it fare for people with motion sickness ?
I think it mostly depends on the type of locomotion.
For teleport it’s fine, for sliding it’s not as easy to keep dinner down.
Not much of a gamer but i do remember enjoying FPSs… and then Half-Life took it up several notches.
