    Yes the Europeans have never trusted communists that was wrong. I agree that the political representation and activity of communist parties in larger Europe is most likely low, as it is in Finland (especially in rural areas, such as mine). I wouldn’t extrapolate the same attitudes to Russia, where the local party seems to still be the second largest in the country. The CPC has nearly a hundred million members. I wouldn’t call those “dead”.

        Elaborate on this, please. Broad, sweeping statements such as mine can be extremely erroneous. I know that Finland’s welfare capitalism has been described and sold to its recepients as “socialism” when it was just imperial spoils extracted from the global south.
