I personally like to map it using an app called keymapper so that it controls multimedia

Me too, I remember I used an app called bxActions to set to activate between vibrate and sound mode on my old Samsung phone

Mine is set to my launcher. So it goes to my home screen when I press it. I really wish Samsung would just drop the stupid Bixby button.

Well, I’m not a Samsung user but looking at photos of s23 and a54 there’s no dedicated buttons, there only power and volume buttons

I use bxactions to control play/pause (single tap), flashlight (hold when screen is locked) and auto rotation (hold when screen is on). No custom ROMs or root needed, just a quick abd command that comes with the app and disables bixby.

You don’t need a custom ROM… That’s like lobotomizing someone because their laugh is annoying.

Search for the “side button” or “side key” to change the options.

That said, the screenshot command is what I remapped it to. This is so I can screenshot on the fly without having to do gang signs on my phone.
