I would imagine that mobilization will not be a surprise by the time it is officially announced.
Either air raid alarms go off in the whole country and you are woken up, or the news cycle is dominated by its impending declaration for days/weeks.
Gonna be hilarious when all the people drumming up war thinking that it was others who were gonna fight and die are going to start finding out that it’s their ass getting shelled in a trench somewhere.
