No hate, is that just LLMs consume more water than towns, and here we have a supposedly eco friendly search engine using one. At least they should make it opt-in.

something doesn’t match… Eco friendly search engine with LLM (which are known for guzzling water) ?!?

The problem is the buying of refills, specially because you need to return the canisters. Sodastream is easily available in the supermarkets in the area where i live, but alternatives are sold far away from where i do the groceries.

They are true (I bet you never used mercurial) and you must learn how to read: Where did I wrote to migrate from Git to mercurial? Having alternatives is good

Mercurial is also simpler than Git and the commands are more intuitive

Having alternatives is always good! And BTW, Git won not because it was better than mercurial…

Nice! I just don’t like that only Git is supported. Mercurial also needs love.

I’ll start by saying that i don’t use signal.
if this is true
There are some concerns that other people in the comments explained. It’s up to you to decide if the trade off is good enough for you. There’s no silver bullet for this.
-what menssaging app should i use for secure communications? i need an app that balances simplicity and security.
Signal is ok. Same as matrix, delta chat, xmpp, simplex. Avoid telegram, messenger, whatsapp, instagram, snapshat, max…
-how to explain it to my friends who use signal because i recomended?
Most people mess up the concepts of anonymity with privacy.
-what this means for other apps in general?
There’s no silver bullet. All the apps have ups and downs. Most people don’t realize that if a state actor (I’m not talking about police but for example NSA, CIA, mossad, mi6) is after you, they will get you. Usually from a side channel, or from some stupid mistake you made years ago.

I fully support this. This is a very easy to implement. 99% of the documents don’t require specific msoffice undocumented features that odf format doesn’t support

this + remapping the remote youtube button seems to be the solution.
Thanks!

That’s via DNS, right? If so i don’t think it will work, i’m using https://nextdns.io/ with lots of block lists and it doesn’t work.

Is there a way to block youtube ads on the tv? I have an android tv and using the youtube app is painfull… :-(
now i know why windows gives aids.

Nice!
I moved to posteo a year ago. This is excelent news!
For ETFs i use this link:
It’s already filtering for european management firms - so no blackrock, pimco, vanguard, vanEck,…
You can add more filters to your search.

You know that they could just fork it, right? Saying that “it’s american”, just causes FUD for opensource.

Why not jitsi meet? Isn’t better to use an already “established” opensource conferencing tool?
They could just selfhost their instance.
Well if you put it in OSM it will appear on mapy. The other way around i don’t think it will work.
Mapy is very cool, but it’s still proprietary.
