I’m not talking about the uses for the tool, I’m talking about how you used the company’s own website as a point of reference for the tool’s capabilities. They have a profit motive so of course they’re not going to advertise unsavory uses for their product, just like your knife companies aren’t going to advertise that their product can be used for mutilation.

Sometimes you don’t even get the product if you pay for the product. AC: Odyssey will be in my Steam library forever unplayable because I had to delete my Ubisoft account for being hacked into and their support team absolutely refused to let me associate the game I purchased and thought I owned to a new Ubisoft account.

You know those AI generated “average male/female face” images you see sometimes? I feel like it could be interesting to have an “average nude body” image, but we need so many normal nudes to feed to the AI.
Iirc adblock plus has been known to get bribed to allow certain ads through. I’m struggling to remember the details, but there was some controversy with them a while back. If you have ublock you don’t also need ABP, just update your filters on those sites that ublock “doesn’t work” on
Yeah ever since then CCC has felt sort of unreliable to me. If they’re willing to let Amazon tell them what data they can show once, they’re willing to do it again. Maybe they’re even doing it on an ongoing basis.
I’ve found that occasionally audiobooks read by the author can go around this, but it’s sometimes hard to find an author that can write well and also has good narrative skills so these are few and far between. Quiet by Susan Cain and Daring Greatly by Brene Brown were quite enjoyable to me for this reason.
Another good way around the problem you describe is audiobooks with ensemble casts so it sort of sounds like the reading of a screenplay. Ender’s Game and American Gods come to mind as standouts in this area.
Most office centers these days pipe in low-dB white noise to mitigate some of the chaotic noises of office work. Unfortunately if you’re the kind of person with a neurodivergence that makes you sensitive to sensory overload this could be one of the reasons office spaces make you feel so exhausted 😃
