The current economic situation is indicative of that. If there had already been more competition across the globe creating external pressure, maybe we’d have more breakthroughs and we wouldn’t be seeing such a strong economic and technological bottleneck
Amazon’s drivers are mostly all 3rd party these days to prevent this exact reason. Legally speaking, they’re contracted companies that function within the stations to employ and train drivers for Amazon. For that reason, if the company is sued, they make it as easy as possible for lawyers to go after the drivers and their companies rather than Amazon itself.
That being said, you do this and, especially if you win, the company is going to get demoted or blacklisted from Amazon. Plus any restitution allowed by the judge.
