I do know a few devs who prefer 5 days in the office. But they’re absolutely the minority.
Personally, I try to go once a week, but I usually don’t because I dread having a day with 50% my normal productivity.
It’s just so noisy all the time in there. Open space and really high ceilings for “collaboration”…
Vue and React are popular alternatives.
Lit is a less popular alternative that’s 100% compatible with native WebComponents, and I’ve been interested in it ever since I first heard of it.
The old version, AngularJS, died. The newer Angular lives on, and I heard it’s a much better experience.
For now. I suspect some evil person will eventually think of baking in default ads for when it can’t connect to the network to get new ones.

I loved my Samsung Galaxy Q. But now that I’m used to gesture typing, I wouldn’t go back. It’s much faster than hitting keys individually with my thumbs.
One thing I do miss though is how quick it was to select/copy/paste.

I understand that they need to diversify so that they’re not so dependent on Google’s default search engine money. I don’t know how they should do that.

That is not what I’m suggesting. I’m not saying charging only cables shouldn’t exist. I’m saying what everything does should be clearer.
There should be a way to make it simpler.
Idk, something like “for USB 4 you NEED all of these”.
Or maybe USB 4 with levels like bronze, silver, etc.
Or make displaying data rate, display and charging capabilities all mandatory on all ports…
I’m not sure what, but “it’s a USB port; look in the manual and if you’re lucky you might learn what it does exactly” ain’t it.
The USB standards are just… Comically overcomplicated. And almost everything about it is optional. They need a full revamp, making it simpler and mandatory on all future ports, devices and cables.
But they won’t do that, will they.
