

Agreed, it definitely has always been there. I’m from a diverse family that covers all races, as well as many ethnicities and countries of origin. Even within my family, I’ve experienced racism, colorism, etc, and it was always baffling to me growing up. I think the internet has allowed the ghouls to finally feel comfortable taking their mask off in public. If we could stop that hate, especially from majority groups (regionally dependant), then we could truly push for societies that lift us all up.
France still holds Haitians financially responsible for…refusing to be slaves over 200 years ago. Haiti has such a rough time now because the US and EU continue to punish the country for representing the only successful slave revolt.
