For a privacy focused search engine. At least the option would be nice. I personally just use my PC and phone, so I’d only need to set it up twice. Additionally, I imagine an export/import function wouldn’t be too hard to set up.

Not op, but I have the galaxy fold 3 and it’s amazing. I’ve had it for 3 years and I can’t go back to normal phones. And I’ve heard the same from many others that got their first foldable.
Oh, yes. In fact, I think it was a crime that the ps4 pro was not 4k.
And you can add the ps5 pro to that list now
Another big problem imo is also that you effectively lose ownership of your games. Inevitably, servers would be shut down and you wouldn’t be able to download the games that you own. And that’s if things go well. Some games could always just go away earlier as we’ve seen on other platforms. However, if you own the disk, then that’s that, you can play the game forever.
On steam, the same problem could technically happen, but I trust Steam significantly more. It’s very much in their best interest to keep growing their library of games and not stop supporting them. I still have games from 10+ years ago on it and I expect to keep them 10+ years from now.
It’s def a blu-ray player. In fact it’s not just that, it’s a 4k blu-ray player.
So, Bluesky?
But it’ll also allow you to just carry 2 batteries and swap if needed. Even if you don’t want to do that, when your battery ages enough that you can’t at all go through a typical day, you can easily change it out yourself to a fresh one to refresh your phone.
I feel like the real problem isn’t Lithium-Ion batteries, but specifically non-removable Li-ion batteries. With some devices, non-removable isn’t as huge of a deal, but with other items such as headphones, mice, and gamepads, I’d rather have AA batteries than non-removable Li-ion. In the event that a battery dies while using the device, having to tether yourself sucks. Whereas taking 2 seconds to swap the battery is simple and quick.
Now, the best of both worlds is just a removable Li-Ion battery. That way you can charge overnight, and just swap to another battery when it unexpectedly dies. My headset does that and I love it. Similarly, I used to have that with my LG G4 and it was amazing. This combo yields the best convenience and is best for the environment as you don’t need to recycle as many batteries or replace the whole product when the non-removable battery starts dying too quickly.
This comment has major Grampa Simpson vibes and I love it.
Why do you keep mentioning apple music? OP never made any comparison to it or any other streaming service. He just communicated why the service didn’t work for him and you felt compelled to inform him that how he feels is his opinion?
If we’re assuming AI successfully produces what it is asked to produce, simply having the execution of the story done by the AI might be enough to entertain the user. Additionally, they can use it to then entertain others, where those others feel like they’re taking a ride on the prompt writers story.
However, I can’t imagine such a story having the depth needed to really entertain the same way that a movie would. Additionally, anyone that isn’t looking for depth might not be bothered to write a prompt. Unless it’s possible to generate hours of video from a single prompt.
It also smoothly supports all dolby/dts stuff with no fuss. To my knowledge, there’s no way to get dolby vision working on an HTPC.
Yes. I have the fold 3 and will ask for another foldable when the time to upgrade comes.
I’ve had my fold3 for over 2 years and I absolutely love it. I don’t think I can go back to a bar-phone now. Also, even if you really don’t like folding phones, why fight creativity? Before this phones were getting so boring and completely lacking innovation. They still are in the non-folding market. Even if you don’t like them, choice is never a bad thing.
This had a lot of useful information!
Agreed. Since when was self-checkout considered a failure?
I’ve had my fold 3 for over two years and it’s still perfectly fine and I’ve dropped it quite a bit. I even dropped it hard once on asphalt while biking full speed. Tbh I got lucky with that last one, but still, these phones are plenty durable.
I have the fold 3 and love it for this reason. It’s fantastic for reading articles + manga. The nearly 4:3 display is fantastic for retro games. Additionally, a surprisingly large number of memes are in a 3:4 aspect ratio. Also, the outer display is great for one handed use.
I largely agree with everything you said. One minor correction, algorithms and AI are not the same thing.
