If you go to a museum and see an impressive skeleton of a dinosaur, you’re not actually looking at dinosaur bones. And no, I don’t mean because they’ve calcified and become “rock”. I mean the real bones are in a drawer somewhere, if they even exist. What you’re looking at is plaster, often with many of the pieces wholly created from scratch in order to produce a full skeleton.
I’m saying using the browser that aims to put privacy first is better than Firefox, yes. I don’t really care about the past personal beliefs of the staff because that doesn’t actually make any difference on the product itself, it’s just virtue signaling. I’ll keep using Brave which values my privacy, you can keep using whatever the hell other browser you want that doesn’t. Simple as that.
I am more and more satisfied with my decision to use Brave years ago despite all the haters.
People very rarely survive significant burns. I know the article says 50/50, but he is essentially dead. The infection risk is just too high.
X is banned in Brazil now.
The problem is like that xkcd comic about experts underestimating the common person’s knowledge in their field. Linux is still not user friendly enough for the vast majority of people. Linux users just don’t seem to understand that most people are in the “wtf is a distro?” level of knowledge and would absolutely panic at the mere sight of a terminal.
How would you like this installed in your workplace? How about ankle monitors that detect if you’re jaywalking? What about if your car had a sensor that automatically informed law enforcement if you were speeding. What if your ISP would shut off anytime you watched a video with copyright without permission.
See how bullshit “if you’re doing nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide” is?

Novelty balloons make up a fraction of a percent of helium usage, and the helium they use is generally not high quality.
When my much younger twin cousins were born, my Aunt and Uncle decided to restrict them almost 100% from screens for the first 3 years of their lives, to the point where they would ask people to put their phones away when around them.
At the time, I thought that was a bit extreme, but seeing those two grow into the most active, intelligent, and happy kids I’ve ever met (especially in their generation), I no longer question their parenting methods. There are obviously a ton of other factors and good parenting practices they followed, but seeing the numerous issues “iPad kids” tend to have, I can’t help but feel they were really on to something.
So that’s a pretty interesting question, because you’re asking for a modern RTS which doesn’t quite exist. It’s not that the RTS genre died, it’s just kind of evolved into two separate paths based on what people enjoyed from those games.
For those that liked the fast action, APM, control of units, MOBAs have mostly filled that role.
For those that liked planning out and building a huge base, there are a bunch of base/empire building games.
Rather than just the typical horniness that most teenage boys have?
Reveals? Is that the right word? The sphere has been around for a while now, was this information not known? Doesn’t seem like something they were intentionally keeping secret.
Installed? Sure, you can do that by lunchtime.
Getting it set up? Making sure all your drivers are working right? Troubleshooting issues? Finding alternatives to programs you need that don’t work on Linux? Especially for someone who has never used Linux before? That will take much longer.
My anime site of choice is a UI nightmare filled with ads and banners. Super ugly and bloated. And it just happens to contain pretty much every animated show or movie in history. It’s been around for over a decade now. I’ve gotta think the shittiness is intentional to avoid suspicion.
The latest coup attempt really sounds like a publicity stunt.
No one died or got injured.
They took over the old presidential palace, rather than the new one the president was actually at.
The general leading it said Morales told him to do it.
Not saying it couldn’t be real, but if they definitely made a lot of the same choices they would have if they were faking it.
So glad I got a 12900k. Apparently they beefed up the reliability of the 12th Gen since it was the first gen with the new framework, but crapped out on the subsequent gens. Looking like it’s going to be the best CPU for quite some time.
