1·3 years agoPerhaps the military should have a system in place to not allow emails to be sent outside of very specific TLDs if it’s that sensitive? And perhaps have an automated contact book, instead of relying on someone typing out the to: address manually to be able to make that mistake in the first place?
Seems like some very basic security measures for something so serious.
Damn, lemmy.zip, eh? If that instance is public, I don’t see that being a good thing.
Tons of businesses, people, etc, are all banning .zip and .mov TLDs for security purposes. I’ve personally banned all those domains from my network as well.

Apple should remove FaceTime and iMessage from North America, so kids stop getting bullied for green texts, despite having a superior phone.
But seriously, why is the kid with a $200 iPhone 5 with a cracked to shit screen laughing at the kid with a $1200 Android phone with features Apple will “invent” 10 years later? All over a green bubble?
Although, it was pretty nice to be able to see which people are lowlife losers on Tinder back in my dating days. They made it very clear how shitty they were when they bashed me for my green bubbles. Saved me a ton of time!

0·3 years agoand kbin seems to federate REAAAALLLY slowly in my experience. A lemmy post will have 100+ comments on any lemmy instance, but then you view it in kbin and there’s like 5 comments. My profile when viewed in kbin is days/weeks behind.
It feels so empty and like you’re in the past lol.
