Its simple and lightweight. Can optionally get it on the app store if you want.
I’ve seen 4k images people made using stable diffusion XL models. They are apparently trained from higher resolution source images. Giving better resolution and less artifacting.
Its becoming easier and easier to fake things. All it needs is a decent gpu and an open source program.
Been fooled before by seemingly real images with near perfect lighting and high resolution. Its the noise patterns you need to look for.
Almost had me thinking AI. But I could be wrong.
Then again, AI has gotten so good that, with a little effort you can make something this convincing.
On android, I use Seal. Its basically a frontend for yt-dlp and has a sponsor block feature.

I started noticing how sometimes youtube just seemingly refused to load fully on my phone. I thought it was just my crap internet. But since I use Iceraven, a fork of firefox, it seems that may be why.
Those alternatives are old tech that has way more limitations than a neural implant.
Just because there is old tech that SORT OF does this, doesn’t mean it can’t be improved. That’s the same attitude behind “not needing more than 4mb of RAM” back in the day. You can’t stop progress all because YOU are fine with the current state of the tech.
