Well the Xbox app that suspends Windows processes is a reaction to this threat. The threat not being Linux in general but SteamOS and Proton specifically. I don’t think anyone imagined it would be gaming that would usher in the era of Linux but it does seem that that will be the case.

Bingo. Someone making 120k makes 5 times the median here. I know about 3 people of my age that own a house and 2 of them left for the US. Why not use the tailnet address? There’s an option that gives you random words instead of an iP address and it works very well, at least for me. i I mean you still need to know the port but it’s less to remember. As for dashboard I use Homarr.

I recently moved away from Gmail and when I was researching what my new email client would be I considered Proton seriously for a while. But what I realized is that the privacy aspect of it is pretty much useless unless everyone you are communicating with is also using Proton. I went with iCloud, it’s free and it’s good enough for my use case.
