I’m typing this on my lemmy “server” PC, an 8500 i5 running Linux Mint (and lemmy.mindoki.com yay !)

I keep my 2600X Windows machine but I more and more rarely feel the need to go back to it. Photoshop something quickly or scan or print something, got a lot of stuff on the drives, … not very much more! Guess I’ll have to deal with some specific stuff if I want to fire up my 3D printer, but once the change done, it’s done forever I feel, and not like every windows update you have to re-do/learn something again…

Jokes are on them, I’m old but I still quit when they tried to force (illegally, we had at least 2 days@home by contract) us back 4 days/w in the noisy open space.

Got flexible home office at my new job (“must” be at the office Tuesdays, everything else is to your convenience) and cherry on the cake a 14.6% raise!

I removed them all, and it brought my server on its knees for a minute or two, syncing like crazy :-D

Now everything seems to be A-OK, thank you so much!

Yeah I probably messed it up, fixed it, but was left with a site breaking image :-p

I changed the icon and checked a newly posted image and they have the right address <3 !

I do understand the problem, but how can I remedy it?

Edit:

I had a bad config for starters, so the images kept their wrong addresses, making the backend bail out before setting up the web page (as pictr returned an error, or that is what I think things went wrong).
