They’re still providing people with tobacco, just a less-deadly kind. Comparing that to the war on drugs is ridiculous. Serious question, why would you consider Bluesky? I would argue that mastodon is “the” decentralized social media platform, I mean it’s not owned by some billionaire; and if you mostly care about audience size, nothing beats twitter. I’ve never felt any inclination to try bluesky for these reasons.
