1 year agoNot knocking the technology at all, it really can be life-changing for people with Parkinson’s disease. But it’s been around for a while, it was approved in the US by the FDA in the late 90s. A chip is not implanted, but rather electrodes in the brain that connect to the controller elsewhere.
Source: I’m an anesthesiologist who has done the anesthesia for this surgery multiple times, including this morning.
P7Pro has a larger screen at a higher resolution which will consume significantly more power. I’m sure some part of it is also due to inefficiency of the Tensor processor
