Strange. I could only find vector settings in the regular Element app. And even stranger, it prompts me with “Accept Identity Server Terms” but if I tap on the identity server option it says “You are currently using vector…”. I also cannot disconnect unless I accept the terms. I really wish all of this was more clear.
I don’t like what I see in the iOS app stores privacy section for the app.
Seriously, since Apple stopped including a wall brick I have not had a single-port power adapter in my household. All I have now are a few power adapters with multiple USB A and C outputs so I can charge whatever is needed.
Scary in what context? For the user? For you as the host? Something else I’m not thinking of?
Is it more complicated to achieve than in other e2ee messengers? Yes, thus saying it is complicated is justified.
If it wasn’t for RouterOS which is closed source and has such a dated ui/ux…
but not really modern hardware
That is kind of an understatement, I believe the hardware is now at least 8 years old if I’m not mistaken, and to me the biggest deterrent right now. If they updated the hardware to relatively modern standards I wouldn’t mind the price tag and probably buy one immediately. As it stands though, no chance.

I could put on my tinfoil hat and say if signal is blocked but telegram isn’t, maybe that means that telegram isn’t as secret as they make it out to be.
If you’re in the EU this would probably fall under the 2 year guarantee required by law.

That’s one product, does that really justify OPs remark “After years of pushing their proprietary and closed solutions”?
Who are you quoting? And which proton solutions aren’t open source?
Even if you don’t mind your phone number getting leaked because it’s already out there I would recommend to switch away from a closed source software that requires your phone number for no good reason. Even if it’s just to send a signal that this is not ok.
I wonder what the power consumption of getting to the information in the summary is as a whole when using a regular search, clicking on multiple links, finding the right information and extracting the relevant parts. Including the expenditures of energy by the human performing the task and everything that surrounds the activity.
There are real concerns surrounding AI, I wonder if this is truly one of them or if it’s just poorly researched ragebait.

Just give them 10 lines at a time from the 500 lines one. Is this how micromanagement was born?
What are you smoking? GOG Galaxy doesn’t even have a Linux client. In fact it has been one of the most requested features for years and nothing has happened.
Edit: it’s also the reason I stopped buying from them when I got my Steam Deck.
Thanks for taking the time to explain it so thoroughly. It’s appreciated!
Are you referring to the measurement objects I mentioned in the draw.io portion?
It’s extra work that I find unnecessary if the walls already are set to the correct dimensions. I would like to be able to just turn on/off the visibility. And also not have to edit 2 objects for the same measurement if anything changes.
