I switched from gmail to gmx mail. I like it very much.
I don’t know what fishy websites you were on if spam and phishing was a problem for you. It wasn’t a problem for me at gmail, outlook or hotmail, so I doubt it will be a problem at gmx, also will not be using web login. Glad you found good email that suits you the best. Have a good day!
