I’m currently using one vault based on Kepano’s method. I use it for work, game and movie tracking, journaling, recipes, posts that I’m writing, and article clippings.

I like it a lot and I know over time my bases will be filtered and allow me to find “kid friendly parks in Kyoto” I’ve been to and catalogued so that’s rad, but the early days of adding files it feels a little overwhelming.

Small part of me just wants to use UpNote and be done with the tinkering. But I love to tinker, so I keep coming back to Obsidian. Plus I love the privacy approach.

I started on Nobara and it’s pretty stable now, been on it for a year. I think it’s the perfect place as it’s based on Fedora so easy to look stuff up and know how to handle problems, but it auto-installs the Nvidia drivers and gets you going immediately.

They have a pretty good discord for support too!

I’m using the Audeze Maxwells right now. Mic isn’t that great but I wanted a great sounding pair of cans for gaming and music, and my friends are the ones who have to put up with the average mic.

Weren’t they just accused of grabbing their own ad data?

I use 1Password so I’m guessing Librewolf handles Firefox extensions? Should be fine there.

I don’t mind logging in every time actually, but yeah I can take a look at those settings.

I was quite fond of Arc so the layout would work for me. How does the privacy compare to say Librewolf which is what others are recommending?

I’ll check out their website. Would be awesome if they had a mobile browser. I’m not sure what to do there. I’m on iOS.
