humiddragonslayer@lemm.eeto Fediverse@lemmy.world•I reckon this is the usage distribution of Lemmy servers that we'll end up with.English10·4 months agoI think a surefire way to help with this would be to have a rule that any instance that becomes the largest one on Lemmy should lock itself instantly. That way, we’ll only surpass the current max number of users on a single instance until it’s completely spread out

Nomadic identity is so cool! That’s the one big thing ATProto has over ActivityHub atm (at least partially0, and hopefully platforms like Piefed will also follow suit on implementing it.

humiddragonslayer@lemm.eeto [Closed] Moved to [email protected]@lemm.ee•How are you doing with your communities?English2·4 months agoSort of a reversal of last time, [email protected] has more or less stayed constant at 78 subscribers, while [email protected] is only 3 away from 100, and has had a few posts from other people so far. Did try to reach out to the albumartporn community mod, but didn’t get a reply yet.
Still happy with the overall progress, though.

No peaceful end of term, maybe. They might have to find out January 6th doesn’t just come once, and it doesn’t always have to be at the Capitol.

It just doesn’t show up in search, and clicking on the links I myself posted from this account leads to an error message.

humiddragonslayer@lemm.eeOPto [Closed] Moved to [email protected]@lemm.ee•Revive Photoshop Battles?English8·4 months agoI think how open ended it is matters, as well as how quickly you can look at an image vs read a submission. Even on r/writingprompts, I always read a few and then moved on, while I could keep going on and on on PSBattles, because each image was just a glimpse and what they did with it was so different (at least it felt like compared to how writing prompts usually went). And personally, I agree about pivoting to a generic name.

Also, you’re not completely tied to links. Make/ask for recommendations, life pro tips, etc.
