Oh, do you support copyright abolition, then?
Oh, do you support copyright abolition, then?
I could go either way, but I don’t think “other platforms have public voting” doesn’t seem all that convincing. Who cares? I don’t care who voted on what, and I doubt most others do either.
While there are workarounds, leaving it as is at least weeds out the majority of trolls who aren’t technically inclined enough to go pull up A to see how B voted on C.
Jesus, 56. Cancer sucks.
Oh hey, Microsoft support moving away from copyright!
I actually went out and looked up a bunch of forums after the Reddit controversy last year. They’re slow, but I actually feel comfortable just browsing through and only posting if I feel like I can actually contribute. I would definitely recommend just going out and hunting for boards relevant to your interests.
Is it still something you can do to big sites the way people did back in the 2000’s?
Oh noes, another ad I don’t see because of ublock!
Lmao, I keep hearing about this but my Ublock Origin & Firefox keeps chugging along fine on both desktop and mobile. Eat my ass, Neal Mohan.
Well, this is awkward, I’m in my 20’s.
You really gonna call me out like that, homeslice?
Poisoning the AI is more fun.
Yep, logged in and haven’t seen a thing.
Still haven’t gotten any on Firefox with Ublock Origin. The usual explanation is that it rolls out in stages, but I’ve nothing weeks later.
The point being they would rather purge the userbase than give them reason to not use adblock by being more selective with their ads.
I’m at a loss for words. Surely, YouTube trying to Adwall would be the stupidest thing in social media history. Surely, Musk changing Twitter’s name would be the stupidest thing. No, Steve Huffman has somehow managed to surpass the old masters. “We can survive without people being able to find our website VIA SEARCH RESULTS”! YOU. STUPID. MOTHERFUCKER.
Yeah, I suspected this would be a real point of no return. Mastodon will also benefit, but naturally the fediverse isn’t the first thing people think of. Fortunately, Mastodon has been working on this.
Hopefully interest in forums starts to pick up again. Not be the main thing, but at least an alternative.
No-one doubts there’s an important question to be had about screen-time with kids, but this clickbait shit from the S*n is not a meaningful contribution.
Have fun not having my money!
