Most jobs I’ve had in the last 15 years have asked me if I want a Max or Windows PC. I’ve had Linux boxes at most of them as well, but not as the primary machine.

Yeah, that’s a big limitation.
Oracle is awesome in this one specific way. They suck in all other ways but this is really good.
Yeah. 2 things stop piracy, a fair price and quality content. We don’t have either.
NextDNS is good. OpenDNS used to be, but you know… Cisco.
Being able to rotate or mirror an image.
Why not Firefox?
During setup, tell it you want to join a domain. This brings you to local account creation. Way easier than what the article says. They keep moving that around to make it harder to find though.
I use portainer, and when I deploy an image, I write a short bash script for it.
This lets me easily do updates. I have a script for each image I run, it’s less than a dozen. They’re all from public repositories.
I’ve never seen this before, but it looks straight forward to build. The inside dimensions are 4" x 6". You need a hydraulic press, and plate steel for the box and lid. The lid should fit smoothly in the top, it should all be about 3/4" to 1" thick. You can bolt together all the walls and base. The top should have a boss that meets the hydraulic ram.
For most things, Linux just works. There are specialized apps like cad packages, graphic design and such that are very problematic on Linux but most of it is fine. Just look at how successful Chromebooks are. They’re all Linux.
They don’t need the computer to see everywhere you’ve gone. I’ve never heard of anyone getting in trouble for clearing their history, but lots of people who have had problems visiting questionable sites.
I’ll take things to avoid for $1000 Alex.

Seriously, what’s the difference? If you are accessing and contributing to the same data pool, what’s the difference besides the UI?
I haven’t used kbin, so I haven’t seen the difference yet.
I went to sign up. There was a notification that advised me to not use the main servers and listed others. I picked one randomly and I’ve been happy since. I pay them through Patreon voluntarily because they deserve support but they don’t solicit. You have to dig a little to find it.
My pixel 5 has the screen separate from the body. I went ahead and got a 7 pro as an upgrade. I’ve had the original pixel, the pixel 3 and the 5. I seem to be skipping the even ones.
My instance’s owner has a Patreon. I give there. I definitely recommend that others do the same.
Just got it myself. Replying from Sync!
