Secondhand anglepoise lamps with clamps so they can be attached up high for bigger plants, and the cheapest and brightest white bulbs I can find in multipacks, are what I use.

I have 60 plants (currently), mostly tropicals and succulents, and they’ve been thriving under these lamps and mostly without natural light for nearly a decade now. My monstera is fucking massive, to the point where every year or so I remove a section of at least 3 or 4 leaves to keep it able to fit in my flat.

You really don’t need to be shelling out for fancy lamps or bulbs to have most plants grow indoors!

Unless I’m actively taking a picture I have all the camera permissions disabled and the lenses covered with foil stickers.

On my last phone I straight up deleted the camera app (still covered the lenses with stickers tho) and would download one whenever I had to take photos and delete it again after.

I can’t remember why I stopped doing that actually, maybe the camera app I liked that had none of that tracking shit, got removed or something, idk.
